Celia Rachel™ is a division of Fab Industries Corp., a well established American textile company, based in Lincolnton, North Carolina. Fab specializes in the production of knitted fabrics and laces and home furnishing, bedding and accessory products.

Fab's core business from the 1960's to the 1990's was manufacturing fabrics and laces for manufacturers of intimate apparel, sleepwear, robe wear and ladies and kids ready-to-wear, earning Fab a world-wide reputation as a supplier of novelty fabrics at reasonable prices. Today, Fab is a privately-owned business, committed to manufacturing its products in the USA.

In the late 1980's, Fab introduced a line of finished home furnishing products for department stores, specialty catalogues and mass retail merchants. The product line included unique products such as comforters, blankets and other bedding accessories, utilizing the company's proprietary fabrics including SuperSuede®, GrandFlannel®, GrandSatin®, and Pannavelle®. Fab also introduced two ground-breaking products: its Park Avenue® blankets it its 100% Combed Cotton FABulux™ Jersey Knit Sheets for which the company received Cotton Incorporated's  1997 Textile Designer Award.

In the late 1980's American retailers initiated to move to off-shore production and importation of foreign-made garments and home furnishing products, which virtually destroyed the once vibrant and innovative garment and home furnishing manufacturing base in the United States. By the late 1990's, these manufacturing operations all but disappeared from the American landscape. The company's management felt it was a shame that these products had disappeared from the US, through no fault of its own, and decided to vertically manufacture these apparel and home furnishing products for the public at mill prices.  This new generation of products is offered to the public at Cristelle Retail Outlet, located at our Mohican Mills facility in Lincolnton, NC. The entire process from fabric formation to cut and sew takes place here. We felt that people everywhere should have access to our wonderful US made products and developed Shopceliarachel.com for the online shopper who cannot travel to Lincolnton for these great bargains.
